Many of you know that I joined GVI a bit over 2 years ago. Since then I have been through every project we have in Cape Town, and loved all of them, but my first job was at ACJ Primary School running the sports program. It will always be very close to my heart.

Sports can be done anywhere and by anyone. All it takes is some awareness and someone to encourage and inspire others. Of course resources help and this is something thatis sverely lacking at ACJ. Especially now the school is being demolished so the kids have very little space to play in, meaning that their one sports lesson per week is even more important. With the money our team can raise we hope to be able to fund equipment and safe storage for as much as we can get.

This is a really worthwhile cause as I know anyone who has volunteered with us here will agree. The kids here love their sports and have so much talent. All it takes is a little support and the right equipment to really push them on. With your help we can give them that.
