I have chosen to run for the leukaemia and lymphoma research charity. It is a charity close to both me and my family after my father lost his battle to leukaemia almost 21 years ago. Since then, a cure has still not been discovered. This charity dedicates it's time to researching possible cures and to helping develop new treatments for sufferers. 

So far I've run the 2012 Bupa Great North Run in 1 hour 29 minutes. I also ran the Kielder Marathon in October finishing in 4 hours and 10 minutes, it was absolutely horrible.

I have also decided to take part in the 2013 Rome Marathon on the 18th of March.

As well as Rome, I recently received the good news that I have succeeded in gaining a ballot place for the 2013 London Marathon on the 28th of April.
