Story

Hi,

I am running the Sheffield Half Marathon this year representing Lodestone Recruitment in supporting Cavendish Cancer Care as part of the Master Cutler's Challenge.

Cavendish Cancer Care is our Charity Partner of the Year 2022 and we are proud to be raising funds for the great work that they do.

Cavendish Cancer Care is a local independent charity that for more than 30 years has been providing free of charge support packages to cancer patients and their families. They believe no one should face cancer alone so provide care and support to alleviate the physical and psychological effects cancer and its treatments brings. They receive just enough government funding to their keep our doors open for two weeks each year, and rely on the support of people like you to be there for all those who need us, at what is one of the most frightening times in their life. Thanks so much for being part of Team Cav and helping me to make a difference.
