As most of you know, I'm more of a cyclist than a runner but this year I'm taking part in the 10k Race for Life to raise money for a very special cause.

In the last couple of years, family members of those very close to me have been touched by cancer. So this is in memory of Mary Louise and Teresa but also for Hedley and the amazing people still fighting cancer every day.

The money raised for Cancer Research will advance our understanding of the disease and help to change the ways cancer is prevented, diagnosed and treated. So please, dig deep folks and give a few quid to save lives!
