We will deliver and coordinate support to people with MND until a cure is found.

Story

I recently started working for an amazing charity, MND Scotland. Before this I didn't know much about Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

For those of you who don't know what MND is - it is a rapidly progressing, terminal illness, which stops signals from the brain reaching the muscles. This can cause someone to lose the ability to walk, eat, speak and breathe unaided. There is no cure for this devastating illness and the average life expectancy from diagnosis is just 14 months.

Having met some extremely brave and inspirational people who have suffer from MND, I am hoping to raise as much as I can to help MND Scotland continue to provide vital services for people affected by MND and fund research to find a cure.

As most of you know I am not exactly the most active person in the world!! So climbing Machu Picchu will be a huge challenge for me and any donations you can make would be greatly appreciated.
