Story

Hi everyone!

The St.David's Hospice is a charity providing end of life palliative care to adult patients with cancer and terminal illnesses, catering for the individual's special needs, be they physical, emotional or spiritual whilst also offering great support to the family before and after death. Providing a pleasant and comfortable environment for patients and their relatives obviously comes at a cost and the Hospice is heavily dependant upon donations from people like you and me as its primary source of income. If you need any more info please visit their website www.stdavidshospice.org.uk, it really is a worthy cause.

For those of you who know me, you'll know that running isn't exactly my forte, I can't run, I don't run and I won't run and I genuinely think that I have a phobia of treadmills following a nasty incident in high school (I fell off...ha!). More than happy to leave my school cross-country days behind me, my total mileage over the past 3 years of uni has consisted of a one mile jog up and down my road with which I was very satisfied. Think Run Fat Boy Run...without the fat boy. My intensive training programme will begin after exams and I'll try to keep you all updated with my progress, this should also satisfy your daily dose of comedy.

Thanks so much for reading, this cause means a lot to me and any support would be greatly appreciated so dig deep and give me your hard earned dosh :)

Lots and lots of love
