I started doing a daily Twitter Quiz at 7pm (@forwardnotback) as the UK started to enter the COVID-19 lockdown, it was initially a thing aimed at a couple of friends to help us keep in touch and replace a bit of our social life which included the odd pub quiz
Sadly within a few days one of my friends had died, we first met when we were both homeless, hence the reason for choosing Shelter as the charity
The participation grew and to be honest the quiz helped me both focus and cope a bit better with my grief and gave me something to do during lockdown
Over 75 days later the quiz is still going and the audience has grown, a few people have contacted me and offered to donate as a thank you for the quiz. I was nervous as this was never about money and I don't want people who enjoy the quiz to feel obligated in any way
I want people to continue to enjoy the quiz whether they donate or not
