In memory of Maddie, daughter to Amy and Tony, sister to Oliver and Elliot, and friend to the Roberts' Family.
In December 2008, Maddie left school for the Christmas holidays a happy and healthy six year old. Over the holiday Maddie appeared to have a tummy bug. On 2nd January Maddie's stomach became swollen and she was admitted to hospital for fests.
On 12th January 2009 Maddie died of a rare and agressive cancer.
Maddie's family have chosen to support KidsCan because it is the only charity that specialises in childhood cancers and it struck a significant chord because it was started in 2002, which was the year that Maddie was born.
On 29th September Nev and Tony (Maddie's Dad) will do a sponsored 100 mile bike ride - The Lancashire Loop - in memory of Maddie. They hope that the money raised will support research so that more children will be treated and cured of cancer.
