Story
I am on the ground in NEPAL with Penny Appeal's emergency response team. I'm hoping to visit the most affected areas over the next few days and deliver emergency aid to those who need it the most. So please help me achieve my target over the next few days and witness the delivery being done on your behalf. (Photo's and video reports will be posted on here regularly.
Day 1 (Monday 4th May)Hot cooked food kitchen at the camps and food pack distributions.
£50 FOOD PACKS
Our food packs are specially designed to support families for an entire month. They provide a range of nutritional food items like pasta, rice, flour, sugar and chick peas.
Simple things such as hygiene, sanitation and kitchen items can make a big difference to those living amid the ruins, restoring personal healthcare and preventing the spread of disease.
Thousands of people have been injured, meaning drugs and medical equipment are in high demand and running out fast. Our medical aid packs provide life-saving supplies to hospitals and health centres.
Many families are too scared to stay indoors so are now living on the streets. Tents and blankets provide them with vital shelter and warmth.
