Story
In January this year, our husband and father, Nelson Ho, sadly passed away.
During his life, Nelson touched the lives of many through his kindness and generosity. He was committed to helping those he could, caring deeply about injustice and inequality.
As many of you may know, Nelson also championed his local community frequently. As head chef and the owner of his small, local business, Nelson often cooked and provided food for those in need. During the first wave of the pandemic, concerned about the safety of frontline workers, he donated face masks to his local NHS.
Nelson was truly a wonderful, selfless man, who carried love and compassion everywhere he went. He never hesitated to share his happiness and love with others, and always went the extra mile to bring light to all those he met.
As Nelson's wife and daughters, we would like to continue his legacy of caring and supporting those he could by setting up this memorial fund to thank West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust. We would like to express our sincerest thanks and gratitude to every single doctor, nurse and frontline worker out there, risking their lives to protect ours.
This page has been created to gather funds from friends and family who wish to give at this time. You can find more information about how this fund will help support West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust at https://www.westhertshospitals.nhs.uk/raise/makeadonation.asp.
Many thanks for taking the time to read this and for giving. Please take care and stay safe.
Sarah, Nicola and Rebecca.
