When we thought of traditional wedding days and present lists and all of the formalities, we quite quickly came to the conclusion that's not for us. At our ages, we still want some fun, some great food, a little vino and a lot of dancing to great music. It feels good and it's something we can share with family and frends. But it isn't like that for everybody, there are some people who can't get out, get away or plan celebrations & holidays. The parents and carers, and the children themselves need our help.

We know a great local charity, The Children's Adventure Farm Trust, who provide holidays and respite care for children in need.  They are based just down the road from The Bowdon Rooms and provide the most amazing holidays for kids who need them, and sometimes for the parents and siblings too.

They need our help and as we really don't need any wedding presents please help us celebrate our Wedding Day by making a small donation to support this Charity. It will help children from all over the North West enjoy a really special holiday. From visiting the farm, we know they will really thank you for it.
