Neil Drayton

Rev Neil Drayton passed away on 22nd July 2021 after suffering from Motor Neurone Disease since he was diagnosed in 2014. He went from being fit and healthy to being unable to move anything except his head. Slightly.
MNDA is a fantastic charity that helped Neil a great deal in dealing with this most terrible of diseases.
He used to attend a monthly support group held by MNDA where he could meet people in similar situations, and learn how to cope with his constantly changing circumstances.
The charity also provided more practical things such as a comfortable reclining chair and helping lower the thresholds on the doors so his wheelchair could move round the house more easily.
They also helped by lending a wheelchair accesible vehicle and assisted with a holiday in the Peak District.
MNDA funds research into beating this cruel, debilitating disease. Great strides have been made in recent years and all donations increase the chances of success of finding both a cause and a cure as well as helping more families to cope through their ordeal. Neil would have very much appreciated your donations towards this cause, to help others.
