Story
In 2005 Craig was a straight-A student who had just left school, passed his driving test and been offered a professional football contract with Falkirk; all before his 18th Birthday! Ridiculously modest and sickeningly handsome I did not know, and have yet to meet somebody, who had more going for them. A man of his talent and character was destined for true greatness.
Tragically Craig was suddenly and unexpectedly taken for his friends and family and the world was deprived a genuine superstar. 10 years on it is still difficult to fathom and upsetting to write about.
This July, to honour his memory , two teams of 18 friends and countless supporters will be aiming to break the World Record a 100 football match on his 10 year anniversary. This a huge feat of physical and mental endurance and will require 6 months training and dedication.
In addition we are looking to raise at least £37k (his squad number) for Sick Kids Friends Foundation and have decided to fund a Sensory room in the new hospital in Craig's name.
To give him the legacy he deserves and commemorate his spirit we are ultimately looking to raise significantly more so please give generously and help us to achieve a monumental sum for what is a monumental effort.
