Story
Dear Friend,
So here I am again participating in my 3rd Aplastic Anaemia Trust London to Paris Triathlon in order to raise much needed funds for this small but incredible charity. The Triathlon takes place every June and is by far thr AAT's most significant fund raising event. You may know that after completing three Flora London Marathons I decided to take up cycling with the logical next step being to try some triathlons (running, cycling, swimming), both to keep fit, and try to raise some money for good causes. A good close friend of mine, Hanna, suffers from Aplastic Anaemia (a life threatening bone marrow disease). She was first diagnosed in her teens, when life expectancy was late teens/early twenties at best. Hanna is now in her forties and lives happily in Sevenoaks with her husband Paul, and children Hollie and Mia. I have known them since our children were at nursery school. Like Hanna, many sufferers are enjoying fulfilled lives due to the great work and research funded by the Aplastic Anaemia Trust (ATT). The AAT is a relatively small charity and thisLondon to Paris triathlon will be the 25th year the event has taken place. We are working hard to make it the best so far, and to raise as much money as possible. I would therefore be very grateful if you would consider sponsoring me - any amount would be incredibly apprectiated. Many thanks for your support. Neil
