This run is my longest ever and is being conducted with friends from Henley Hares running club.  But why Help for Heroes?

This is a story about a windy day in Waitrose Car Park where a person close to me lost control of the car door and bashed a BMW in the next space.  I don't know about you but I really hate it when my car gets bumped and scratched in a car park. So we left a note admitting our responsibility.

Turns out our 'victim' is a serving RAF officer and when he asked for payment for damage - he suggested that I donate the cost of the repair £75 + VAT to 'Help for Heroes'.  I replied that we could do better and so here we are!  My original plan was to do the 'half' for my own esteem and bucket list, but why not...?
