We do a lot of charity events here at Robson Laidler as part of our company values to help our community.  I usually put my name on a list to donate to others' activities but I haven't really made much of an effort to take part in the organised events we've done in recent years.

As a middle aged, slightly overweight man who enjoys the occasional cycle it seemed like the C2C event was the obvious thing to take part in and actually do something rather than just put my hand in my pocket.

Freeman Heart & Lung Transplant Association are a locally based charity who do great work supporting transplant patients and their families.
