I have had problems in life as I am autistic.

But I have been lucky.

In1985 I went sailing on the sea for the first time. I enjoyed it so much that I got my Dad to look for other ships that I could go on. He found the JST.

In May 2020, after 35 years, I was due to go on my 25^th voyage! NOW IN AUGUST 2021 I HAVE ACHIEVED THIS!!!!!!

Taking part in challenging voyages with the Jubilee Sailing Trust has been great for me over many years. The JST has helped me to expand my life skills and given me great enjoyment. In fact, the JST has benefitted me so much that I want to help others with disabilities have the same opportunities.

The charity relies on donations to subsidise all of its places on voyages, and to continue its work. I have therefore decided that when I go on my 25th experience, I want to raise £1,000 to help fund others. 

I have steered the ship and climbed over 100ft up the mast, but I had never been slung under the bowsprit in a net; this sounded to me really scary, but it was not when I did it!!!

I'm asking whether you will sponsor me for doing this, so that other people can benefit from my challenge, and the life changing voyages JST provides.
