Story

As salaamu alaykum/Hello all!

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Please help us to raise funds for Islamic Relief’s clean and safe water sanitation cause and donate through this page.

Clean water is essential for life and a basic right. However over two million people are dying from water related diseases every year as a result of having no access to clean and safe sanitation. In developing countries poor water and sanitation affects the lives of women and children the most, killing 5,000 children a day. Islamic Relief aims to provide access to clean water through digging wells and to provide education on personal hygiene practices which can reduce diarrhoeal diseases by a third.

We will be trekking up Ben Nevis on the 31st July 2010, ALL donations will be raised for the sole purpose for Islamic Relief to help the needy.

Please support us as this is the first time we are partaking in such a challenge (it’s even pushed us to see the inside of a gym!)

Help and make a difference and donate…..

JazakumAllah khayr/Thanks
