Story
My name is Nathan with my friends Robbie and Conor, my auntie Tania, my mum Rebecca and her friends Justine, Lisa, Maria, Barry, Barry and Chris we are climbing Snowdon a mountain in Wales on 2nd April 2016 to raise money for Daisy's Dream.
On the 15th May 2015 my dad Pete committed suicide, I was 10 when I got told this life changing news. I felt sad, angry, confused, lonely and couldn't understand why. My mum and all of the close people in our life didn't have any experience with how to cope with what had happened other than to comfort and try to understand me. No one really knew how I was feeling. My mum heard of a charity called Daisy's Dream who support children and their families in Berkshire and the surrounding area going through a bereavement or have a loved one with a life threatening illnesses. Daisy's Dream supported my mum with someone to talk too about my different emotions, they supported me by having a lady who comes to see me who understands the way I feel. It gives me someone away from my family and friends to talk to about my dad and my feelings.
Daisy's Dream is an amazing charity, your donations will go towards helping other children and their families just like they have supported mine.
