Story
It feels so wrong talking about Nathan in the past tense, but here goes... Nathan was so many important things to so many people. His impact on those around him is immeasurable. Personally you can imagine the type of caring loving hard working daddy and husband he was.
Grief Encounters are the charity that Amy and the children grasped for immediately after Nathan’s death. Sadly they’re not the first or last family to have the wrecking ball of grief smashing through their family.
Amy would like to use all the energy and goodwill that so many people have offered, to support this charity. It’s one of those things you don’t know is desperately needed for families, until it is you that needs it.
Grief encounters will be a constant source of support and guidance through this hideously painful time and I think Nathan would be proud to have helped the charity who are helping his family so much.
Well.... there’s no charity for recovering Star Trek geeks or curry addicts so this will have to do!
Grief Encounter are an open-access charity funded by the generosity of their supporters. They work closely with individuals, families, schools and professionals to help alleviate the pain and confusion caused by the death of a parent or sibling and offer a way through the emotions caused by grief.
