Story
From September, I will be volunteering for 7 months on a development project in Ghana.
This is part of International Citizen Service (ICS) which sends thousands of 18 to 25-year-olds around the world to fight poverty and make a difference where it is needed most.
ICS is a government-funded scheme but in order for them to continue to do such a fantastic job they need people like you to donate.
This is because although the government funds these placements, the money given only covers 90% of the approximate £7,000 cost for each volunteer.
I need to raise £800 for International Service – one of the development charities that delivers ICS. This will allow them to continue to bring about positive change in the developing communities where they work.
Any contribution from you will make a real difference to the lives of people in developing countries, so please dig deep!
