Footballer turned first-time 'marathoner, double 'ACLer' and one time leg-breaker, I have no doubt this challenge will be a gruelling one! I welcome any donations, not to me, but to a fantastic gem of a hospital within the NHS in its quest to build an urgent Bone Cancer Centre that will treat thousands in their battle against the dreaded C. When running through the pain, in the rain, and against many difficult terrains, I will have in mind the debt I owe to the skilled hospital staff, for saving my football career, not once, but twice, and the thousands of patients battling much bigger battles than the ones that I faced.
