Story

I am attempting to eat a solely locally-sourced, vegan diet in order to draw attention to how much food we allow to be flown to our plates. I want to show you how cheap, cheerful and delicious veganism can be (although my local vegan dishes might get a bit repetitive) whilst  connecting with and supporting my community including local farmers. This project is all about raising awareness about climate change and calling out for everyone to take individual action to reduce their carbon footprints. We must feel the change, to make a change.

If you support my actions and you want to contribute to solving the climate crisis, please donate to EJF and support the climate refugees who are being displaced and dying due to this dilemma of which they had no share in creating.

For millions of people around the world, environmental degradation means hunger, poverty and vulnerability. It doesn't have to be this way. The Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF) is working to secure a world where we all work with, rather than against, the natural environment. From lobbying for policies that tackle climate change to protecting our precious oceans from illegal fishing and poaching practices, let's combat environmental injustice together.

About the charity

EJF works in some of the world's most difficult and remote countries to protect vulnerable communities, wildlife and wild places. Our campaigns have led to action on forced labour and human trafficking, national and global bans on deadly pesticides and arrests of illegal 'pirate' fishing trawlers.
