Story

I'm taking part in the March Dog Walking Challenge to support families facing dementia. My Nan first started to suffer from dementia at around the same time that I went self employed, so I had the flexibility to visit her and help my family care for her as often as I could. As she deteriorated we were fortunate to be able to get her the help and nursing that she needed. However, there are many people who don’t have that luxury, so they have to endure a frightening and lonely disease without support.
