Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am doing the Claire House Splash Dash with Carla on Saturday 23rd September 2017. Personally this is in memory of my cousin Harry Bear, who died when he was just 5years old. Harry had malignant migrating partial epilepsy of infancy. He had 150+ seizures per day,was blind,quadriplegic and unable to eat or drink. Harry was fed through a Mi'key button in his tummy and needed 24/7 care which Denise and Paul, Aunty Maureen and his family did an amazing job of providing such a loving environment. Claire House provided their family with respite and provided support throughout and still do to this day. They made sure Harry was comfortable and that his last few hours were spent being cuddled and told how much he was loved. Harry died in his daddy's arms aged just 5years. Nurses then bathed him,put his PJs on and he lay in the Butterfly Suite until his funeral. I visited Harry in the Butterfly Suite and it was so beautiful. So Claire House means a lot to our family and now I have tears in my eyes thinking about Harry Bear and my family. Goodnight God bless beautiful boy xxx
