Story

“Epilepsy Society is a charity very close to my heart as my sister has the condition. I know how hard life can be for someone with epilepsy and I am running this marathon for her and to raise awareness. I am very aware just how devastating epilepsy can be and I am determined to do my bit to help.”

Epilepsy is the most common serious neurological condition. More than half a million people in the UK have epilepsy – about one person in every hundred.

Epilepsy Society works hard to improve the quality of life of people affected by epilepsy. It carries out world class research, offers expert adult residential care and supports people with epilepsy, their families and carers.
