I am doing this walk because i lost my mum to this terrible disease in 2007 and would like to raise money for the people suffering with it and to raise awareness as the majority of people do not know anything about this disease. My Mum Deborah Adams was 51 when she died and i miss her dearly. I would like people to have more information about this disease and hope that that money i raise will do this and also help people who are suffering with the disease as the MND association can use the money to provide things for people with the disease such as holidays ideal for disabled people and lite writers for them to use to aid communication. Also it would be great if we raised enough to put some of the money towards finding a cure!

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones.
Degeneration of the motor neurones leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing.

All Monies to go to MND association south lancs branch.
