Aspire Channel Swim 2010 · 5 December 2010 ·

Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

Hey Guys..... I haven't done any organised swimming since Primary School, but just for kicks I've decided to attempt to swim the length of the English Channel (22 miles/35.4km). In doing so I'll be helping to raise money for ASPIRE and people with spinal injuries.

Seriously, that's 1416 lengths in the pool!!.... I kid you not, 1416 times following the black line.

So come on, if I can scare the locals by being in my bathers, AND do the hard yards in the pool, you guys at least can dangle some cash my way to kick me along.....

This page is here to help you, and me....... quick for you guys, and saves me from running around trying to collect the £$£$, from across the globe, when I should be in the pool adding the miles....
