In April I will be running the London Marathon which is a long life ambition of mine.  The furthest I have ever ran is 10klm so the thought of running 26.2 miles haunts me.  It's certainly going to be a difficult challenge to complete but I am going to put 110% into it.

The Charity I have chosen to raise money and awareness for is Contact a Family.  There are 770,000 disabled children in the UK and Contact a Family is the only charity that helps all families, no matter what disability or condition their child has.

Contact a family is always there to provide support.  Whether it is helping find like minded parents to form a local support group, or providing practical advice about access to things like disability benefits, equipment, holidays, play, leisure and education. 

Last year Contact a family transformed the lives of 340,000 families by providing information, advise and support when families needed it most.
