Hi everyone!
My name is Naomi Graham and I am going to be volunteering on my own in Mexico for 6 months, leaving on the 8th January 2011.
I am going with the charity ICYE who have links with local charities in Mexico. I have chosen to work with disadvantaged children in either Mexico City or Toluca. Many of these children are homeless or orphaned and really need help.
I have been volunteering with children in my local area for 5 years now, and I thoroughly enjoy it. I have chosen to go to Mexico as I want to help children from more challenging backgrounds, whose lives I can really make a difference in.
To be able to help these children, I need to raise £3,595. This is a lot of money to raise in 3 months and I really need your help!! I now have a new job at Pret a Manger to fund my trip! and I have plans to hold fundraising events at my school.
However, this is still a massive target to reach!
Please make a donation, however small. Every little helps!
Thankyou!
