Please read my mums storey below........

My name is Zurina and I was recently diagnosed with cancer of the throat. I have undergone major treatment including a tracheostomy, my voice box has been removed and I've undergone lots of chemo and radiotherapy which has made me extremely ill. However, I am grateful and pleased to say that at present I am currently clear of cancer. Life sometimes deals us a hand we may not like, but life is too short to let things drag us down. I like to think of myself as someone that is strong minded and whilst some days take there toll on me and I sometimes wonder how I'll get through days, I have lots of children and grandchildren around me that I love dearly. Therefore I have decided to do this tandem sky dive. I don't believe anyone in the family has ever attempted something like this, so I really want them all to remember me for being that strong person who feared nothing.......
