Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Most of you will think this is a complete joke.... but on the 11th July 2010, I will be taking part in a 10k London run to raise money for a special charity.

A very good friend of mine Maryse Gordon has been a sufferer of Scoliosis Since 1995, a condition which causes a lateral (sideways) curvature of the spine. There is no cure for the disease, so more research is needed to try and find one.

The money will go to The British Scoliosis Research Foundation (BSRF) - the only research charity that exists solely to promote research into the treatment of scoliosis and allied health conditions in the UK, and also, The Scoliosis Association (UK) (SAUK) - a charity who aims to provide advice, support and information to people with scoliosis and to raise awareness among health professionals and the general public.

This is the first time I have ever done anything like this, and yes, I am worried about collapsing/breaking a leg and various other associated risks....but its all in the name of a good cause, so please dig deep!!!

Please feel free to come down and support/laugh/throw things from the sidelines on the day !! xxx
