The plan is to attempt to cycle the span of Europe from the Northernmost point to the most southerly (Nordkapp to Gibraltar). The estimated time for this trip will be up to three months; starting in July and finishing in September.

We are 21 year old engineering students at the University of Sheffield. In our spare time we are members of Sheffield University Officer Training Corps with plans to join the regular army after graduation.

Help for heroes looks after the service personnel wounded on operations and their families. To add a military connection to our trip we will be laying a memento at one Commonwealth war dead cemetery in each of the countries we pass through.  

Our plan is to regularly update our Facebook page with photos, videos and blog entries while we cycle. Feel free to follow our progress for what should be an exiting challenge.
