As some of you know, I have been volunteering as a Childline Counsellor for 3 years. During that time I've witnessed firsthand the invaluable, crucial, and often life-saving work done by Childline, and the NSPCC, in safeguarding children and young people. For some of these young people, Childline is somewhere to turn to when they're having a difficult time, or find themselves in situations and need a space to talk; for others, it's a lifeline. It's all they have standing between them and complete lonlieness. 

I'm raising money for the NSPCC for these reasons, and because I have experienced the dedication, and passion people at the NSPCC and Childline have for supporting, listening to, advocating for, and protecting young people.
