This September ‘16 I’ll be completing Tough Mudder to raise
money for War Child.

To give you a little bit of information, a report by the name of Syria: A War on Childhood, revealed that children and young people have experienced varying degrees of all six human rights violations and these
include:

1. Killing or maiming of children;

2. Recruitment or use of child soldiers;

3. Rape and other forms of sexual violence against children;

4. Abduction of children;

5. Attacks against schools or hospitals;

6. Denial of humanitarian access to children;

And that is just in Syria!  During 2014 War Child supported 36 different projects in six conflict-affected countries through a combination of institutional and private grants. 

So, instead of asking what difference can one person make, try
asking what difference can you make to one person?

everything I’ve written and just donate on the strength of that alone, but it would be better if you took a few minutes to visit their website and see where your money would be going towards.

In closing, I would like to use a line from their website: “the
worlds ‘war’ and ‘child’ should never go together.
