Story
Hello all
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On Friday 17 September at 8pm we’ll be starting a 20 mile tramp around the sights of London as part of Maggie’s Annual London Night Hike and to raise money in support of Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres.
Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres are a network of drop-in centres in the UK, which aim to help anyone who has been affected by cancer. They are not intended as a replacement for conventional cancer therapy, but as a caring environment that can provide support, information and practical advice. They are located nearby, but are separate from, existing NHS hospitals.
The Maggie Keswick Jencks Cancer Caring Centres Trust was founded by Maggie Keswick Jencks in 1995 to provide support for people affected by cancer, their families, carers and friends to empower people to live with, through and beyond cancer.
It is estimated the night hike will take between 7 and 10 hours depending on how many hot chocolate / Irish coffee stops we make. We’d be really grateful if you would help us raise our target of £1200.
