Story
Hello - thank you for taking time to visit my page! On the 10th July I will be taking part in a charity skydive from 10,000ft to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust. As some of you may know in 2013 I lost my partner and best friend to cancer.
At the time he was being looked after by the amazing staff at St James Hospital Leeds, Ward 49 TCT Unit.
During Michaels treatment the staff went literally above, beyond and out of their way to support the whole family and made one of the most stressful times that any family can go though that little bit easier by just being there.
Thanks to this amazing charity they gave us a home away from home to be there for Michael when he us from day one. Gone was the gloomy hospital waiting rooms!
Whether it was a chocolate bar to cheer you up, a bed to sleep on next to your loved one, or a brew and chat with someone about your worries or about what’s been on TV, they provided it all for you.
There is nothing I could possibly give to match what they gave Michael and myself to share those last moments together, however I want to make sure the support is there when someone else and there family may need it, because I know how invaluable it is!
Please donate anything that you can, even if it’s just a pound – that’s a chocolate bar and trust me, you need comfort food!
Thank you for you support in advance!
