Story

Update: 5 walks under my belt, many bridges crossed. Clocking up the miles!

I’m attempting the Bridges of Britain 7 mile challenge in bite sized distances.

My lymphoma came back with a vengeance after several years in remission. The shock was terrifying and numbing all at the same time. The care of the Haematology team at the Royal North Devon Hospital was marvellous, the kindness heart-warming. The care included an excellent booklet from Lymphoma Action, completely free of charge. The information was positive and user-friendly. Lymphoma Action also has a Helpline and podcasts by specialists in research, diagnostics and treatment/management of lymphoma.

The information, guidance, advocacy and reassurance during the Covid pandemic and lockdowns sustained many of us and we were able to share concerns on a dedicated chat line- another amazing resource.

Long may this wonderful charity continue to help and support people affected by lymphoma.

Please help, if you are able, by sponsoring me. Any donation at all will help.

Thank you, with love and gratitude.

Myra.
