Story
This year I am competing in the London Triathlon (1500m swim in the Royal Albert Dock, 40km bike around East London and the small matter of 10km to finish) to raise money for 2 charities which have effected us over the last year.
My cousin's wife Debbie was diagnosed with Myeloma in 2009. Like me in 2009, you have probably never heard of Myeloma or know what the implications are. It is difficult to describe how it effects people but Debbie is positively dealing with her situation and detailing her journey at www.debsjourneywithmyeloma.wordpress.com. I URGE you to read it and understand how traumatic the condition has been for Debbie and her family.
Myeloma UK work tirelessly to promote the awareness of the disease. Debbie has spent many hours fundraising for the charity and I ask that you help too. We would welcome any financial support you can provide by donating through this page directly or by texting DJGC55 £5 To: 70070.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
I know many of you have donated before so absolutely any help would be greatly appreciated.
