As many of you will know one of our nurses was seriously injured earlier this year when she was knocked off her bicycle. the fact that she has made a full recovery is in no small part due to the emergency treatment she received at Frenchay Hospital having been airlifted by Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. The Air Ambulance service receives no public money it is funded entirely by voluntary contributions from the general public. It costs a staggering £3,800 a day to keep the ambulance in the air. On October 24th Murray and James will be competing in the Great South Run to raise money for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
