We offer a network of care to life limited & life threatened children

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our little boy Hugh has an undiagnosed genetic condition and a rare and severe form of epilepsy.  Because of his condition he is unlikely to reach adulthood.  Acorns provide specialist care for children, like Hugh, with life limiting conditons and offer support for their families. They help make precious memories.

We would like to give a little back to Acorns for all the support they have given us since Hugh started using the hospice in Selly Oak in 2011. It costs over £8 million a year to run Acorns, that's £750 a day for each child's care. They rely primarlily on donations to provide this much needed service - that's where you come in!

Donatingng through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
