Story
Nettle and I are taking part in the Muddy Dog Challenge in November (postponed from September due to the Queens funeral) to fundraise for Battersea. We will be doing the 2.5k in Windsor as Nettle will be 15 months old and so still building up her strength. The obstacle course will test Nettles socialisation skills when navigating new and strange situations, and make me have to try and keep up with her!
The money raised will help Battersea provide love and care for thousands of dogs and cats that come into their care. On average Battersea take in 7000 cats and dogs that need rehoming each year, as well as also helping lost pets get back to their families. Battersea has its own hydro pool for helping dogs that have been hurt or had to have surgery recover - I think it's great that they put so much effort into making sure the dogs have the best care and best chance at recovery.
Every dog and cat deserves a forever home where they will be safe, loved and cared for.
Thank you for supporting us and Battersea
