“Probably the toughest event on the planet”

On June 8, 9 of us guys and 2 girls will be taking part in the brutal challenge known as Tough Mudder. Tough Mudder is a hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle course designed by British Special Forces which will test our all-around strength, stamina, mental grit, and bodies, right to the limit. Obstacles will include mud, fire, ice-water, underground mud tunnels, 12 foot walls, more mud…oh yeah and 10,000 volts of electricity.

Although we’ve all been giving it large to each other, this is very much a team thing and we will have to rely on each other’s support and camaraderie to us get around the course. We’d also very much appreciate your support. As much as we'd like you to come down and cheer us on, it will cost you £10 to do so. You may be thinking that is a small price to pay to have a good laugh at us/see us in sheer pain. However, we'd much prefer it if you showed us your support by giving a kind donation to our chosen charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.

Scarily, 1 in 3 of us will develop cancer at some point in our lives so this is a charity that will touch everyone. Their support for those who have the disease and push for better cancer care really makes the difference during those moments that really matter in life.
