I have been busy training, building up my distance and taking part in a few half marathons to prepare for the mammoth challenge ahead!

What could your donation do?
• £6 could help to buy a sweet potato starter pack, so a farmer can sow one acre with sweet potatoes
• £18 could help to buy three chickens to give to a family in Ethiopia so they can have a supply of eggs and some left over to sell
• £60 could help to buy a goat for a woman in Ethiopia, and provide the training in how to look after it
• £113 could help to buy a modern beehive, beekeeping suit, a hive tool and a bee smoker for a beekeeper in a Tanzanian forest community, as well as pay for two training sessions so that they can set up their own hives and have a reliable source of honey and income.
• £333 could help to establish a cooperative of coffee farmers in Ethiopia, supporting farmers to get a good price for their harvest
• £454 could help to provide agricultural training for 40 smallholder farmers in Tanzania, including support preparing land and planting, harvesting and processing crops
• £680 could help to buy a drip irrigation kit for a farmer in one of the driest parts of Kenya that delivers water from a large tank directly to the roots of the plants that need it
• £9,400 could help to train two women's cooperatives in Ethiopia in how to process goat and cow milk for sale, giving them a sustainable income and developing the local community
