Fundraising for the Maggie’s Centre, Lanarkshire.

To help raise funds for the Maggie’s Centre, Lanarkshire, a well-known Scottish coach operator, John Bruce of Bruce Coaches, is taking part in one of the most exciting motorcycle expedition ever – Nick Sanders, Key West to Alaska 2015. 

Beginning his journey on the 1^st of June 2015, John will travel from Key West in Florida, to Alaska and back, by motorcycle, within 39 days.  John will be riding an average of 331 miles per day and complete the journey on the 8^th July 2015 after covering a total of 12,915 miles. 

The expedition is led by world record breaker Nick Sanders and his team.  Nick Sanders is best known for his extreme motorcycle journeys.  He has ridden around the world seven times and included two record circumnavigations of the globe, the second time in 19 days 4 hours.

The route includes Florida, the Everglades, Louisiana, New Orleans, Big Bend National Park along the Mexican border and then north up to and across Utah and Nevada and then California, Oregon, British Columbia, the Alaska, Top of the World Highway, Richardson, Dalton and Glen Highways. The route continues south following the Mississippi across the Mid-West.
