Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Recently a friend and colleague of ours at Morley fire station has won his battle with cancer thankfully returning to work!

We are going to be doing the below 4 events though the year to raise money for a couple of charities that helped him through the hard times over the last 18 months.

Coal carrying world championship - 13th April

A 1km run with 50kg(male) 25kg(female) sack of coal on your back!

Yorkshire three peaks - 8th June

A 24.5 mile trek over the three highest peaks in the county!

Spartan 5k Obstacle race - September 6th

A 5k race, passing 25 different obstacles in the process!

Santa run - December

Looking at a 5k Santa run in fancy dress to finish the year off nicely!

These are the firefighters charity and the friends of Leeds centre for Leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma, who support the hug on a tray foundation ran by the chevin socialites. Both of these charities helped in many different ways. It is your choice who you would like to donate too, feel free to look on both websites I you would like to have a look before you do.
