The WWF have recently launched an initiative called PISCES, which attempts to get everyone involved in the sea to have a voice in it's protection. It's a splendid idea, involving scientists, anglers, conservation groups, recreational boaters, and fishermen - basically anyone who is a stakeholder in the ocean. We're an island race, surrounded by coast, and all have brine in our blood! So I'm running the Marathon to support them in this important work.
