Story
This weekend, I should have been in the French Alps chatting about the weather at Chateau Monique. But I’m not, so I’m going to use the time to climb the equivalent of Mont Blanc in a house with no stairs. That means going up and down a ladder over 2000 times to reach a cumulative height of 4.810 metres.
With your donations, Young Bristol can make children’s and families lives better during lockdown by providing internet access and creative and sports packs to vulnerable young people.
For many young people, not being able to access to school and our youth clubs can result in a level of isolation way beyond what most people are facing. Without safe and stimulating places to attend, many vulnerable young people are having a tough time right now.
The fantastic staff at Young Bristol are able to help identify and support vulnerable young people in many ways, despite our clubs, activities and youth bus being closed. Here’s what your money will buy...
£22.40 - A creative pack with 5 activities
£55 - Internet access for a month for a home that doesn’t have it
£67.93 - A sports pack with 7 activities
For example, if we raise £550, 10 houses without internet will get it for a month during lockdown. That means we can engage the young people and help make their lockdown a better experience.
Every penny will go direct to young people’s homes quickly to help vulnerable young people - now.
