Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Kindred is an Edinburgh based charity that provides an essential service for families living in Scotland. They provide advocacy and counseling for families who support children with additional support needs. This includes holding parent support groups, advocacy support for statutory meetings, assistance with funding applications for specialist equipment, or DLA, and lots more. There really isn't a limit to the help kindred provides, they will go to the end of the earth to help each and every family they support.  Kindred's work is parent-led and non-judgemental, with an emphasis on listening and building self-confidence. 

Most people with disabilities and their families need and deserve extra support to get the most out of life and it is because of this I would like to raise £500 for this incredible service. Once I reach that target I will shave my head and live-stream it for all who donated...if this is still during lockdown I expect it will be just me and my fellow householders with a pair of clippers in our kitchen!! All of my hair will be donated to The Little Princess Trust who make wigs for young people.
