Story
I am taking part in the ‘Strathallan Skydive’ in aid of the Haven Centre on 8th September 2019. We are participating in this through our work, Tesco with 26 other employees throughout Inverness. We each have to raise a minimum of £400 and I would hugely appreciate any donation, of any size towards this incredible cause! If you would like to hear more about the Haven appeal then please read on below!
Wish us luck and thank you all for your generosity in advance!
Elsie Normington Foundation is a charitable organisation based in Inverness and was set up by Elsie Normington. It’s aim is to raise funds to create a specialist centre complex to provide these services not only for Inverness but to serve the Highlands.
Elsie Normington Foundation plans to build a specialist play centre, respite wing, community coffee shop and some supported housing for children and young adults with learning disabilities in Inverness. We need your help to raise £4 million for the Haven Appeal.
Young people need relevant facilities and services while parents need to be supported appropriately in their caring role. There are 1679 children with additional needs in school and 722 children who are registered disabled in Highland.
